The Process
I worked on this paper early in my academic career. Up to that point, it had been the most extensive and comprehensive paper I had completed. During that time, the most prominent issues seemed to be directly tied to the ongoing pandemic. As a student who was directly impacted by its effects, it felt like the obvious topic for this assignment.
I delved into my research, covering everything from statements directly from the CDC to scientific journals, random articles on a variety of theories, and more. There was an endless amount of content to discern regarding the topic. Additionally, I conducted a survey among a variety of participants to learn more about their trusted sources of information and how the pandemic might have impacted their process for gathering information.

The process of writing this paper was incredibly tedious. It involved a lot of back and forth. Each time I thought I had a solid point of view and a bulletproof argument, I would discover new information that altered everything. With the support and guidance of my fantastic professor, I managed to gather my thoughts and research to form a strong argument and present it in a clear and concise manner. Working with such a large amount of sources was a challenge as I navigated the influx of information. There was a strong sense of accomplishment when I completed this assignment. Throughout this process, I continuously felt challenged, which helped me improve my writing and research abilities tremendously
