The Process
I served on the Operations Committee and assisted in coordinating catering, volunteers, music for the catwalk, and more.
Over the course of a semester, we recruited and trained models, hosted a jury panel to select the best garments to feature, and choreographed the show.
The Outcome
The Outcome
The result was a highly attended and successful show. Our team collaborated efficiently to maneuver several setbacks throughout the planning and execution stages of this event. Being a part of this show was one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences during my time at VCU. This experience exposed me to a great deal of challenges that better equipped me to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly and effectively.
