Create an overview of fashion trends from 1850 to 1929, divided into three sections (Victorian, Edwardian/World War I, 1920s), by compiling images that represent each era's fashion. Explore the connections of fashion to the corresponding period's current events and major trends/designers.

Alongside our course exploration of the 1850s to 1929 time period, I conducted additional research for each era to find the best images that captured their essence.
I searched for the most meaningful images for each period in the categories of women’s daywear, evening wear, men’s wear, and accessories. The search was tedious and difficult, as images of well-categorized pieces from such early periods were limited.

Outcome
Exploring the intricacies of fashion in each period was an incredibly fascinating process. The impact of crucial historical events on fashion is evident throughout each piece. A clear story through each era can be seen as fashion changes and evolves to fit its time. Completing this assignment was an extremely fun process and I’m proud to share this with you!
